- Primary Health Care, Mental Health Care, Palliative/End of life Care. Infectious diseases including TB, HIV/AIDS, Cysticercosis, Bartonelloses.

- Promoting improved access to essential medications working with government and pharmaceutical industry
- Investigatory tools
- Helping research in the development of innovative investigatory tools for use in remote areas.

- Recognizing the importance of education to the physical and mental health of these communities. Emphasis on educating community health workers.
